Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance

"We," "us," or "the Company" refers to the publisher of ApexReporter Studio, ALPHA TEC (NTN: 3035872-8). "You" refers to the individual or organization using the site, trial, demo, or a licensed installation. By using any of these, you agree to be bound by these terms; if you're accepting on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to do so.

2. License grant

A paid activation key grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and run ApexReporter Studio on one machine (physical or virtual) per key, for the number of users permitted by your plan, for the duration the key remains valid (see Subscription & Billing Policy). The license is for the compiled runtime; it does not grant rights to the product's source code beyond what's needed to run it as delivered.

3. Restrictions

• No running the same activation key on more than one machine at a time.
• No reverse-engineering, decompiling, or circumventing the license/activation mechanism.
• No removing or altering the trial watermark, copyright notices, or license-validation logic.
• No reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing the software itself as a standalone product.
• No use that violates applicable law.

4. Trial & demo terms

The downloadable trial and the hosted live demo are provided for evaluation only, are not licensed for production or commercial use, and carry the limits described where they're offered (report/import caps, a permanent watermark, expiry, etc. — see the trial description). We may change or discontinue the trial or demo at any time.

5. Plug-ins

Optional plug-ins (e.g., migration importers, alternate database engines) are licensed separately via their own activation keys and are subject to these same terms unless stated otherwise at time of purchase.

6. Ownership

ApexReporter Studio, its source code, design, documentation, and trademarks are and remain the property of ALPHA TEC. These terms grant you a license to use the software; they don't transfer any ownership to you.

7. Your data

ApexReporter Studio is self-hosted. Your report definitions, Oracle connections, query results, and everything you create or export using the product belong to you and run entirely on your own server — we don't access, store, or claim any rights over it. See Privacy Policy and Security Policy.

8. Support & updates

Support and update entitlements follow your plan as described at time of purchase. We aim to keep documentation and this site accurate but don't guarantee any specific update schedule or feature roadmap timeline.

9. Disclaimer of warranty

The software is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You're responsible for evaluating the trial/demo before purchasing to confirm it fits your needs.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ALPHA TEC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the software or site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to support/updates for breach of these terms. Your right to run the software ends if your license key expires or is not renewed (see Subscription & Billing Policy) — the application itself will show a locked activation screen rather than deleting any of your data.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Pakistan, except where local consumer-protection law gives you a right to a different venue.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
